LOOKING FOR: Retired Framing Super or Inspector/PM | Part-time | $100/hr

WHO WE WANT

You spent 20+ years running framing crews on residential builds. You can look at a wall and know if the load path works. You know what gets buried wrong and causes problems five years later.

Now you're retired or winding down. You don't want a job. You want your expertise to matter, good money, and zero bullshit.

THE WORK

We build 3-4 story wood-frame multi-unit residential across Nova Scotia ( generally within 90 mins to HRM ). We bring you in for framing.

Spec translation: Review structural drawings, define exactly how connections and details should be executed. Plain language, demonstrable.

Crew briefing: Meet with the actual framers before they start each building. Not just the foreman the guys swinging hammers. Show them what you expect. Answer questions. No excuses later.

Certification: Verify work meets the standard you set. Your sign-off unlocks payment. If it's wrong, you say what's wrong and how to fix it.

2-5 visits/month when we have framing going. You set availability. We schedule around you.

THE MONEY

$100/hour on site 1.5 hour minimum $150 bonus when work passes first time after your crew briefing
